DOHaD 2022 World Congress Travel Awards
A limited number awards will be available individuals presenting at DOHaD 2022.
President’s Plenary Presenter Awards*:
Presented to trainees selected to present in the 12 Trainee Plenary sessions each morning. These awards are valued at $1,500CAD.
LMIC Travel Awards*:
Presented to trainees / presenters from LMIC. These awards are valued at $1,000CAD + complimentary conference registration.
Travel Awards:*
Presented to trainees from non-LMIC. These awards are valued at $1,000CAD.
Poster Presenter Awards:
Presented to trainees presenting posters at DOHaD 2022. Posters will be judged at the conference and trainees must be attending their poster in order to be considered for an award.
KBHN TRAINEE TRAVEL AWARDS:
KBHN is offering travel awards to trainees that are a presenting author of an abstract at the 2022 DOHaD World Congress. To be eligible, a trainee’s work must be supported by KBHN.
To be eligible, application forms must be completed and submitted by 28 March 2022 via email to admin@kidsbrainhealth.ca.

*These awards will be determined by the program committee following abstract review.
In order to be considered for an award you must indicate your eligibility on the abstract submission form.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible individuals must:
- have submitted an abstract as a first author that has been accepted for oral or poster presentation at DOHaD 2022, and
- be a member of DOHaD International or a paid member of an Affiliate Group (members of DOHaD Chapters, must also be paid members of DOHaD International to qualify) or a member of KBHN. Further information on how to join the DOHaD International Society can be found here.
Trainees must fall into one of the following categories:
- Clinical Fellow or Resident in an approved training program, specialty research fellow
- Postdoctoral Fellow within five years of receiving doctoral or senior degree
- Student: Full-time students enrolled in a formal training program leading to a degree (BA, BS, MD, PhD, MS, MPH)
