Kang is a University Distinguished Professor in Applied Psychology and Human Development at the University of Toronto. His research uses state of the art artificial intelligence techniques to study behavioural and neural mechanisms of face processing and deception in children and adults with emphasis on racial bias and bias reduction in children.
