Janice Bailey (co-Chair)

Janice Bailey is a Professor of Animal Sciences & Research Associate Dean, Faculty of Agriculture & Food Sciences, Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, Laval University (Québec City, Canada). Her research explores the impact of the environment, such as toxicant exposure and nutrition, on reproductive development and the ability to produce healthy offspring. She is particularly interested on paternally-mediated DOHaD, which has been relatively ignored. She is a founding member of the Reproduction, Development and Intergenerational Health Research Centre, composed of researchers from the Faculties of Medicine and Food & Agricultural Sciences. She is also co-Director of the Quebec Reproduction Research Network, which includes research teams from six research-intensive universities in the province of Québec.
